Ecological and Cost-Effective Access Road
Task
A recycling company needed to build an internal road that would allow for the safe transport of trucks with raw materials. It was important that the road be made of durable materials, allow for safe movement, and not pose a threat to employees.
Solution
In order to create the road quickly and easily, it was decided to use ROAD SYSTEM 200 plastic road plates. This eliminated the need to prepare the ground, apart from removing any unevenness. The road plates were connected together using ROAD SYSTEM LINK 200 connectors in a way that allowed for even load distribution.
Result
The road made of ROAD SYSTEM 200 plates turned out to be an effective solution. Several vehicles, including 40-ton trucks, drive on it every day without any problems. The plates have proven to be durable and resistant to weather conditions. Additional advantages of plastic road plates are their easy installation and disassembly, as well as low operating and maintenance costs. And if necessary, they can be moved and reused in another location on the company’s premises.
