Erosion control and drainage system
TASK
Safeguarding of the slope against erosion, drainage of precipitation water around the building.
SOLUTION
geoSYSTEM S60s was used for the slope. Grids were fixed to the base using plastic anchors, which additionally protect them against sliding. The slope was planted with vegetation. A belt around the building was made from geoSYSTEM S60s and filled with aggregate.
RESULT
The slope was reinforced and the base is not subject to sliding. The gravel belt facilitates the permeation of precipitation water – water is not stopped around the foundations and does not endanger the building with dampness. Grids protect the gravel from shifting.
