Fire road and recreation place
TASK
The Grudzinski Palace in Poddebice, as one of the most beautiful monuments of the late Renaissance architecture, required revitalization. The restoration and renovation work covered the building and its surroundings as part of the project “Land Without Barriers in Poddębice – Revitalization of the palace and park complex and the waterfront of the Ner”
SOLUTION
A recreational place constituting at the same time a fire path, located next to the residence, was reinforced with the geoSYSTEM G5 max grid, which, without disturbing the landscape, leveled and strengthened the surface. Such a solution is practical and aesthetic, and the filling of grids with grass maintains the natural climate of the park.
RESULT
The palace and park complex after modernization has changed beyond recognition. Again, it delights not only residents, but also crowds of tourists. The area reinforced with the geoSYSTEM G5 max grid is used to organize celebrations and events. The grids properties also allow the use of this area as a fire route. It is worth noting that the reconstruction of the whole complex has been adapted to the movement of disabled people.
