Green parking by the castle in Janów Podlaski
Task
Janów Podlaski Castle, a beautiful four-star conference and leisure center, aimed to maintain harmony between history and nature. Situated in the heart of the Podlaski Przełom Bugu Landscape Park, the castle had a long history dating back to the 15th century, with preserved walls from the 18th century. An essential goal was to find an ecological solution for the parking area.
Solution
Similar to other properties within the Arche (Łochów Palace and Farm House, and Arche Hotel Częstochowa), it was decided to implement eco-grid geoSYSTEM G5 max. These grids, made from recycled materials, are characterized by immense durability, supporting up to 450 tons per square meter. They were filled with high-quality soil and seeded with grass, blending in with the surroundings and allowing water to flow freely.
Result
Thanks to the implementation of geoSYSTEM G5 max grids, the castle’s parking area became robust, long-lasting, and eco-friendly. The site acquired a natural character, and the parking area remained in harmony with the beauty of the surrounding nature. This innovative and ecological decision helped maintain the balance between the past and the present, adding a unique charm to this magical place.
