Natural courtyard with geoSYSTEM
Task
In 2023, the “W Polach” site was established, nestled among picturesque fields, far from the city’s hustle and bustle. Its character and location required a natural arrangement that would not disrupt the harmony of the surrounding landscape. The owners wanted to avoid concrete solutions that might disturb the tranquility of the place. The key challenge was to reinforce the courtyard and pathways surrounding the site while maintaining aesthetics and an eco-friendly approach.
Solution
An innovative, ecological solution was chosen in the form of geoSYSTEM G3 grids, which perfectly met the project’s requirements. The grids were filled with aggregate, giving the surface a natural, subtle appearance that blended seamlessly with the rural surroundings. The geoSYSTEM G3 grid system provided sturdy ground reinforcement without the need for concrete materials, aligning with the owners’ vision.
Result
The “W Polach” site achieved an aesthetically pleasing, eco-friendly reinforcement of its courtyard and pathways, preserving the natural character of the area. The geoSYSTEM G3 grids, filled with aggregate, created a cohesive, natural look that blended harmoniously with the surrounding fields and meadows. The place maintained its peaceful, intimate atmosphere, perfectly complementing its location on the Lublin Upland.
