Protection of a historic road
Task
As part of a project to build modern apartment complexes in Poznań, it was necessary to prepare an access road. The development is located near a historic fort, which is accessed by a historical Prussian road. Due to its historical significance, it was crucial to ensure appropriate safeguards to avoid damage during intensive construction work.
Solution
To minimize the risk of damaging the historic surface and considering the anticipated heavy traffic and construction vehicles, it was decided to use ROAD SYSTEM 400 plates. These highly durable plates were chosen for their ability to effectively distribute loads and protect sensitive surfaces.
Result
The constructed road, 4.8 meters wide and 150 meters long, effectively meets the project’s requirements. Thanks to the use of ROAD SYSTEM 400 plates, full protection of the historic Prussian road was achieved, allowing for safe and efficient construction work.
