Storage Reservoir Reinforcement
TASK
The implementation of a storage reservoir for a power plant in Konin, which will allow to store the excessive amounts of water and be easy accessible.
SOLUTION
The banks were covered with geoSYSTEM S60s embankment grids to protect the land from sliding. After placing the grids, the surface was filled with soil and sown with grass seeds.
RESULT
One year later the grass is fully grown and the area around the reservoir is naturally organised. The banks of the storage reservoir are reinforced and protected from sliding.
