Strengthening the ditch
TASK
After rains the edges of a drainage ditch slid into the water clogging up the drain. The problem had to be fixed.
SOLUTION
geoSYSTEM S60s embankment grid was used to solve the problem. The edges of the ditch were covered with the grid and attached to the land with the use of geoPIN fastening pins to protect the land from sliding. The surface was filled with soil and the grass seeds were sown.
RESULT
The surface is now covered with grass. Its roots reinforced the banks and keep the soil still, the turf is no longer clogging up the drain.
