Strengthening the slope behind the store
TASK
In Poznań, at the back of the Lidl store, a steep escarpment needed strengthening. A solution was sought that would simultaneously prevent landslides and allow the planting of lush vegetation.
SOLUTION
The slope was leveled, geoSYSTEM S60s grates were laid and fixed with 24 cm long anchors. Thanks to the special structure of the grate, it is possible to fill with soil and cover sloping areas with various vegetation. The openings in the grilles are large – 12×12 cm, so you can use the fortified surface in any way, and if necessary, you can also cut the grilles.
RESULT
The grid is practically invisible in many places and the ground does not slide down. The intended effect has been achieved.
