Grassland Airport
TASK
Reinforcement and leveling of the grassy surface at the airport of the Paramotor School in Chrcynno. A water permeable surface and biologically active terrain were designed.
SOLUTION
The airport apron was reinforced with geoSYSTEM S60 and sown with grass.
RESULT
An even and strong surface was obtained and no pits or puddles form, even after rainfall. Airplanes can safely taxi over the landing zone. Thanks to the application of geoSYSTEM S60, embedding such a large area of the airport in concrete was not necessary. The green surface is aesthetically pleasing and fits in nicely with the surrounding landscape.
