Residential Fire Lane
TASK
Estate area in Poznan. A certain percentage of surface had to remain biologically active, therefore the driveway and fire lane could not be surfaced with concrete. It was instead designed to be covered with geoSYSTEM S60 porous paving grids.
SOLUTION
GeoSYSTEM S60 porous paving grids were laid on a crushed aggregate substructure and sand ballast to create a satisfying solution. The grid was filled with soil.
RESULT
A lot of green roads have been created around the buildings with 87% of the surface remaining biologically active and water permeable. The estate has gained new, ecological character.
